Position-Time Graph

Motion Around us

Position-Time Graph

Now, you are with the victory Group and we promise you by the end of our task you will able to,

1-Develop position-time graphs for moving objects.

2-Use a position-time graph to interpret an object’s position or displacement.

Check the answer of the following questions,

Q1-How many variables are involves when we are talking about motion?
Two, Distance and time.

Q2-How can we represent motion?

1-By using Motion Diagram.

2- By using, Particle Model.
4- By using, Position-Time Graph. 3- By using, Tables.

5- Words.

Q3-If you have a data table, how do we draw the position-time Graph?

1. Draw a horizontal axies and a vertical axis.

2. Chose suitable scale for both axis.

3. Plot the points that repsents the table.

4. Drawing the Line of best fit, which is a line that is drawn as close as possible to all plotted points.

Q4- Draw the position-time Graph of the previous table?

Now you are ready to,

1-Develop position-time graphs for moving objects.
2-Use a position-time graph to interpret an object’s position or displacement.
